
Moira
What is Moira?
Moira is a Doom (2016) remake that is been altered with the vision of my team and I using inspiration from games such as Titanfall 2 and Bioshock. Moira is the final project that I am working on for my time at Full Sail University where all of the skills and techniques that I have learned throughout the course of the program culminate in my Capstone project.

What are the skills I learned working on this project?

Technical proficiency in Unity and C# as I programmed many of the largest features myself

High levels of level design as I created multiple environments from scratch

Planning and leading a team from conception to a finalized project over four months

Technical proficiency with Photoshop and After Effects to create art for the HUD/UI

The feature that I am the most proud of would be the weapon systems. Each weapon has their own unique play style that it offers the game. Along with this, the animations and artwork provided by our art team added greatly to the feeling each gun emanates while the player is using it. As a team we decided on having a multitude of weapons to expand the game play as much as possible. There were times throughout development where we discussed removing some of them to simplify the game play as much as possible, however in the end we decided that it was in the best interest of our game to provide as many choices as possible.
