In this remake of Doom (2016) my team and I have brought to life an entirely new experience with inspiration from Titanfall 2 and Bioshock Infinite.

  • Organized and led a team of six through the entire design process
  • Iterated and re-iterated using
  • Designed and implemented numerous design features including:

    • Combat Systems

    • Locomotion

    • Weapons systems

Pray for Prey

As a scared rabbit trying to make your way home, evade the dangers of a dark forest, ever fearful of becoming somethings dinner.

  • Focused on inducing anxiety and uncertainty through sound design

  • Designed AI to react only to player sound

  • Developed under strict time constraints over two separate game jams

Get to know me!

Good Morning, I'm Joshua Leistikow and I am a graduate of Full Sail University. I currently live in Kansas with my wife and 2 dogs. I am searching for a career in the industry, where I can put my skills to use creating engaging experiences for players. Most recently, I participated in the Society of Play Game Jam where my team and I revived an old, forgotten game project and finished it.
